The museum also houses works of art by some of the world’s most renowned Catalan artists, such as Dalí, Miró, Tàpies, and Subirachs.

The city also offers boat tours of the harbor, guided bike tours, and a world-renowned nightlife scene.
For those with more time, a day trip to Montserrat —the rocky mountain range and its Benedictine monastery, located 1 hour from Barcelona—or a tour of the Modernist Route in Reus are natural and complementary extensions of the itinerary.

From La Pineda de Salou campground, getting to Barcelona is quick and easy: take the AP-7 highway northbound and exit at Barcelona. Organized bus tours depart regularly from the front desk; ask there for information on upcoming departures. It’s a great way to enjoy the city without worrying about parking or driving in the city.
The province of Tarragona is full of other treasures to discover, such as the Ebro Delta and Catalonia’s rich cultural heritage. Don’t forget the other nearby destinations: Salou, Port Aventura, Aquopolis, and, of course, the must-see city of Tarragona and its Roman ruins.
