Our campsite La Pineda is close to the City of Tarragona and can be easily reached by various means of transport. Indeed, from the campsite the distance is only 6 kilometres to Tarragona. Thus, if you travel by car it will take you only 10 minutes to reach Tarragona and, for cyclists, it will take 20 minutes to reach the city centre.

Tarragona is a city known for having the largest Roman wall outside Italy and the largest public square in the Roman Empire. In addition, Tarragona has a 217-metre long aqueduct. Tarragona therefore has within it multiple Roman remains with also the Ferreres aqueduct, on the outskirts of the city, which is nothing more than a monument classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. In this town very close to Campsite La Pineda there is a Mediterranean-style cuisine with seafood, olive oil and all kinds of fish cooked in a light and tasty way. The fishing district and the many restaurants of Tarragona await you for a complete visit of this historic city.
