At 50 meters you will find a golf complex, a paradise for a golfer with 170 hectares, 45 holes, the most recent in Spain. Each of these green is a different experience for the player. Not only because of the challenge they pose, but also because of its design: the 9-hole Ruins course is located between archaeological ruins; and from the 18 holes of the green Hills, you can see the quarries, pine forests and the sea. In the green of the lakes, the 18 holes are located around the Sequia Major wetlands, qualified as a space of natural interest, it is the most technical of the three courses and a real challenge for any golfer.
From the campsite you can also enjoy the bicycle path from Vila-seca – La Pineda – Cap Salou – to Cambrils, along the coast.
To walk we recommend the route from the viewpoint of the Salou Lighthouse and the round path that passes by the seaside at Cap Salou only 3 km from the campsite. The sea breeze caresses us when we cross the 300-metre long pathway that surrounds the Salou lighthouse. The path allows the visitor to practically touch the water and enjoy a natural environment of great beauty, sheltered from the rugged coastline, away from the noise of the capital of the Costa Daurada.
Inaugurated in April 1858, the lighthouse has a red central tower that still illuminates day after day the Gulf of San Jordi on the Costa Daurada. It had a white light fed by olive oil, which could be seen from 14 miles away. The restoration of the site was carried out with the greatest respect for the natural environment. You can see native plants such as asparagus, white pine, sea lilies, agave or cerrillo, and enjoy the sight of the 20 or so seabirds that frequent the site.
